Come to the front of the class and we'll measure your brain.

I heard a funny joke today.

What do Eskimos get after they sit on the ice for too long?

Polaroids.

This is the result of putting off my homework. I tell you, my stumble button on my Firefox toolbar is one of my favorite inventions. We are a horrible combination, though.

This past week[end] I got in contact with some admissions people. When we looked at schools, we liked Sacramento State the best. The cost of living isn't bad and while we explored the city a little bit and upon reflection, it just felt good. None of the CSUs are admitting students in the Winter or Spring terms until further notice due to budget cuts (not even CSUB), so it looks like we won't be transferring until the Fall of 2011. We also have been looking into Chico State. Just keeping the options open.

By the way, we're transferring to a Cal State. David is a Mathematics major, so the state will pay for his education if he teaches Math for 2 years at a 7-12 level for every year of assistance he receives. The plan is to teach for 4 years while he works on his Master's in Mathematics and eventually work at a community college.
I am a Speech Pathology major. My plan is to graduate with my Bachelor's Degree and then start making babies.
I'm retaking this Basic Design class that I took 3 years ago and it's kicking my trash. I was telling my parents about it and Kaitlyn interrupted, "Wait-- you're in an art class? HA!!!" That basically sums it up. Well, it's this same class that is going to keep me up all night finishing my portfolio project that's due tomorrow. I guess I should get started on it. At least Monday is over. Mondays are the worst.

  1. I am jealous of your major. Not so much David's, though I love me some math.

So, can I send my kids to you when they have speech problems, which they will apparently have at some point? (Lynne's already talking backwards like Sarah used to.)

  2. David was in my Math class the other day talking to Professor Brantley about nerdy Math stuff. (I guess he tutors or something?) Anyway, way cool.

  3. Yeah, he tutors Brantley's Cal II class. What class are you taking with him? And by the way, I guess I'm not cool enough to read your blog?!? What the heck, Carla?? :D
