So there it is. I will keep blogging. My posts might be kind of boring and somewhat pointless, but that's okay. And it's okay if you don't want to comment on the posts. I still love you and I know you love us too. That's why you're reading this silly thing!
Anyway, here are some things that have been on my mind lately:
- We just had the opportunity to go to Guatemala and it was such an amazing trip. This will definitely require a separate post because there are a lot of experiences and details I would like to document. But if you haven't already seen, there are a ton of pictures posted on my facebook account.
- Since we spent 10 days in Guatemala last month, I feel jipped because I didn't get all my Christmas ya ya's out. Not to mention the fact that 8 of the 10 people we tried to carol to in Fresno weren't home the day we tried to carol to them and I was too sick to carol to our Bakersfield peeps, which makes me sad. Especially when they confront me about it and I feel like a heartless loser.
- Juggling families at the holidays is caca and I don't like it. I feel like we're always out of sync with everyone else and I wish everyone just lived in the same place (not in Utah, no offense).
- Jana gave us a copy of the CD Hadestown by Anais Mitchell for Christmas and I love it. It's a folk opera about the Greek tale of Orpheus and Eurydice. It's really fun because you read the story, and then play a track when prompted in the story. And the music is really beautiful and catchy.
- David and I were called to be the Sunbeams teachers, along with Tyler and Karina. I could tell you how I really feel about it, but since it didn't work on the Bishopric, I will just say that it will be an experience for us. And those of you waiting for a pregnancy announcement, this situation is working tirelessly against you. Sorry.
Keep posting! Please :)
