From Pool House to Play House

So here are some pics of the apartment (yes, I'm just going to pretend that I didn't promise this post 5 weeks ago):

The living room:

The dining room:

(Yes, David the househusband makes me breakfast every morning and made me an authentic Guatemalan breakfast the other day. Scrambled eggs, refried black beans, fried platanos y crema! Delicioso!)

The kitchen:

(Don't mind the dishes in the sink...)

The bathroom:

The bedroom (bow chicka bow wow):

The patio at night (it's so much cooler at night because of the lights David put up!):

It is very tiny. In fact, Cecil came to visit a little while ago (He drove up to Fresno from Bakersfield in the middle of the day because he realized that he forgot to give me a Father's Blessing for the start of the semester before I left. He's the best.) and all he could say about the apartment was, "Wow, it's kinda small, huh?". Haha. It was great. At one point, he bumped into a bookcase and knocked something off of it and after he jumped and checked to make sure he didn't break anything, he said, "Your apartment is a little small. Heh." Gotta love Cecil.

Anyway, that's what our current living quarters look like! And we'll likely be living here for another three or four years, so we better like it! Now I'm interested in seeing what your homes look like. So you should blog about your living arrangements. It's kinda fun, no?

  1. Don't know how I missed this post, but I love it! I will totally blog about our apartment. I did when we first moved in, but now that we have a bunch of junk, I'll do it again.
