I know I came out of nowhere with all these posts, but help a sister out!

I have been loving Pandora lately. I think it's because I have been deprived of new music. 2010 was a music drought for me. I don't think I listened to anything new. I spent all my time rockin to The Shins (which, can you really blame me?). What are you listening to right now? I crave your suggestions!
By the way, I'm really looking forward to having children so that I can watch Yo Gabba Gabba. I think we're really missing out on some wholesome, high-quality entertainment here, guys.

    I have been listening to The Shins the last few days!! And Led Zeppelin and The White Stripes a lot. But if you want to some good albums from last year, try the new one from LCD Soundsystem, Band of Horses, Sufjan Stevens, Arcade Fire, Tame Impala, Joanna Newsome, Junip, Local Natives, Best Coast, Jenny and Johnny, or anything by Jenny Lewis (her solo album, Acid Tongue, that came out a couple years ago is BRILLIANT).
    I also love Jose Gonzales and Iron and Wine, and I have been getting into some good old punk rock like The Ramones, The clash, the Kinks. Check out Talking Heads, The Smiths, Velvet Underground, The Pixies, David Bowie (always a good choice). Also, some good old-timey blues like Mississippi John Hurt and Robert Johnson are sooooooo good, if you're in to that sort of thing. Lastly, Abbey Road is always a pleasure to listen to. Ready, set, go!

    Oh! One more! A local band from Provo I just discovered caledl the Empirates are really good, if you are looking to rock out. Another local band that I LOVE is called The Archer's Apples. They are Provo Sweethearts. Really good stuff.
