Sadly, Spring Break has come and gone. But it's cool, because we had a pretty awesome week. And what's even better? Only 5 weeks of school left, including finals. Hooray!
At any rate, I'm here to tell you of our adventures in Oregon!Basically, we didn't plan things out very well. And we didn't even take a ton of pictures. However, we were able to solve the dilemma that I know has been plaguing your minds for years: Is Oregon better than California? Okay, like it was even a question, let alone a dilemma, right? But we went into this investigation open-minded and came out winners (since we live in California). And in the meantime, we fell in love with Northern California. In all honesty though, Oregon is very beautiful. It's so green! It was a nice drive but we didn't drive up the coast like we had planned. We're planning on going back up this summer for a more planned out trip and we plan on taking the scenic route then. We didn't get to catch any shows while we were up there either, which was kind of a bummer. Did you guys know that The Shins are based in Portland?
While we were there, we stayed with the Tews part of the time. You know how in high school during the whole "I don't care what happens, we'll always be friends" phase when you'd think "When we're married, we're going to visit each other all the time!"? Well, that's basically what happened and it was pretty awesome. Little Eliana is so dang tiny and new! I'm glad we got to hang with their little familia.The rest of the time we were there we stayed with Dan, David's old mish comp. He was Dav's companion when Dav got shot, so basically Dan's friends and family treated David like a celebrity. It was pretty funny. We had a lot of fun with him, though. It was funny to hear his side of the stories David had told me...Anyway, here's some random pics from the trip. Enjoy!
