(Note: If Tyler and Karina are reading along, please don't take offense, but this was pretty funny, you can't deny it.) Karina had been wanting some cotton candy all day, so when Tyler bought her some, she couldn't stop eating it. This made him very upset because he wanted her to first check her blood sugar, which led to the following argument:T: I really wish you would put the cotton candy away, sweetie, until you check your blood sugar.
K: Yeah, you're right. (nibble nibble)
T: I'm serious. Stop eating it. Give it to me. (She gives it to him.)
K: Well, let me have it so I can put the tie back on it and put it away.
T: Are you really going to put it away? (She nods.) Okay, here.
K: (Tears into the cotton candy again, looking innocently up at Tyler.)
T: Are you serious? Nina, you just lied. You're going to die.
K: Well, so are you.
T: You're right. Why don't I just go grab 4 cheeseburgers and you can finish off that cotton candy and we can die together. This conversation was almost as good as our experience on Splash Mountain. We had all had a lengthy discussion about seating position in the log versus exposure to water and come to the conclusion that the back and the middle seats get it the worst. So Karina sat in the front, then Ty, then me, and then Davau. We got off the ride and guess who looked like a couple of drowned rats? Karina and Tyler. It was so awesome.
I had been planning on finding all of the characters and taking pictures with them (you better believe it, Allyson!), but we didn't see a whole lot of characters. Fortunately, however, I was able to find and take a picture with sexy Mr. Prince Charming!

Awesome that you got to go to Disneyland. Not awesome that you like tapioca pudding...
ReplyDeleteAhaha, I completely forgot about that story! It's probably for the best that you didn't go crazy or you would totally be in Australia right now. And Captain EO is from like the 80's/early 90's, it's a CLASSIC!
ReplyDeleteWhoa, whoa, whoa, Carla. You've got me all wrong! You see, I don't like tapioca. In fact, I strongly dislike it. However, RICE pudding is my passion!
ReplyDeleteAnd Allyson, I could never forget that story, because it was such an accurate depiction of my inner desires! Haha, but yeah, Captain EO was... interesting.
Love you, but I am never moving back to Bakersfield.
ReplyDeleteSorry, guys, but I just don't see myself in Wasco/Bakersfield again. Maybe it'll happen, but don't hold your hand to your a$$ waiting--it might grow there, and then you'd have a hard time going potty.
ReplyDeleteLove you! Glad you had fun!
Oh, and... gag. Sexy Prince Charming? Gross.
Omg, Justin Bieber was there last Friday!! I totally missed him. I was in the line for Space Mountain. I was devasted.
