My dear sisters and I had the opportunity--no, the privilege to go visit our awesome aunt, uncle, and cousins for MLK Jr. Day weekend. It was super fabulous (as per usual). Misty wasn't even subjected to my horrible shopping habits. Hot dang! Don't cry, Mist...there will be plenty more opportunities for us to shop together.
We drove (insert deep dramatic voice here) THE TUNDRA because, for whatever reason, my parents don't trust the Daewoo (Crazy Dogggz is it's name-o) with their children's lives (more like with Kaitlyn's life... don't even try to deny it. Home girl drives that thing all over town without a worry or care from those fools!!). But we rocked out to our awesome roadtrip mix via my AMAZING collection of music ::ehem, Misty:: and had our own dance party. My dancing was more of stifled swaying motions and a couple of variations of "the sea cucumber" as to not kill every driver on the road. But once "Single Ladies" came on, it was all over. Fortunately we were parked, so had permission to rock.
It was a pretty chill weekend. We got to spend a lot of time with everyone. I was able to watch a few good movies with Misty while Lindsay texted away and Kaitlyn entertained the kiddos, we went to my fave restaurant EVER! And we were even able to attend church in their ward. It was a nice little mini-vacation to Relief Society (a break from my Primary duties). We were lso able to top by Tiger's for delish fro-yo! And on the way home, Lindsay and I came across the surprise of all surprises... Ralley's!! I thought they all closed, but alas! There is one in Fresno right off of the 99. When we saw it, even though we weren't hungry, you know we turned around to find it. I don't particularly care for their food, but their fries were prepared by the gods!

I just love Aunt Misty. She's like the cool older sister I never had (because I pretty much fill the position of "cool older sister" in this family). But seriously, you are so wonderful, Misty. I loooooove you!

These kids are wiggedy-whack, but oh-so cute!

What great fun to go away for a couple of days and to visit family, and daddy let you use his truck. Good parents. To top it off, sounds like you had a really great time. Way to go. What was your favorite restaurant of all time? Did you get any of the "rockin out" on video? I think your fans might like to see 3 crazies going ballistic.
ReplyDeleteBritney, your blogs posts are fun, lol. Sounds like you had a blast, lady! Glad you had a good time. Oh, and rocking out in the car...good times, good times.
ReplyDeleteYou know, Whale tried to rock out in the car once. Didn't go so well...and he couldn't figure out why.
ReplyDeleteAhhh, you are so sweet! I love you tons! I'm glad that we are so close. I cherish every moment I am able to spend with you. That weekend was fun times full of surprises and interesting things!
