I'm just sitting on the shelf.

Tonight was the first CES fireside of the year, and even though I was a tad late, President Monson delivered a wonderful and inspiring message. I feel really good about my decision to better filter my entertainment choices (thanks for the encouragement, Cous'!).

After the fireside, the gang came over to the casita, where I had baked some sugar cookies for us to express our individual strokes of creative genius via decorating some cookies. Kaitlyn and I were going to bake random shaped cookies, specifically one in the shape of a house so we could decorate it up to be a brick house so we could prance around singing, "She's a brick. HOOOOUUUSE." but I decided to bake cookies that spelled out my friends' names. Kellie, Lyndsay, Lindsay, Clint and I collard (The Office reference) the icing fun colors. Darlene and Joseph had to leave early, so they weren't able to decorate. But as for the rest of the cookies, they were edible art at it's...well, most unique (and tastiest)!
