And now, a retrospective letter to my dear aunt from her favorite niece:
Dear Misty,
I had so much fun visiting you, Uncle Danny, Isabella, and Chase last week! We got to Stockton safe and sound, even though there were some worries about not catching the train. I had so much fun singing fun songs with Chase. He's a good little singer of Primary songs, but my fave was "Shake It", with his signature edit to make any song fit the melody of "Shake It". Look out, Zac Effron!
We all had so much fun making the Brandow's and Grandma do funny shimmies and shakes on Elfyourself.com. We got to feed the ducks delicious Mongolian BBQ bread, followed by a tour of Stockton's most festivous Christmas displays (especially the patriotic one, because remember...it is never the wrong time to be patriotic! Keep that 'tude up and you might find yourself twenty feet under a building exploded by TERRORISTS!!). But don't worry, if there were to be a terrorist attack, I believe your "friends" with the AMAZING Christmas card would be all over it and would bust a cap, fo real!!! You opened my eyes to many....new.....television programs that, let's just say, I wouldn't normally find myself watching. But if I was a millionaire, and I was kind of a self-absorbed douche, and I changed my name from "Britney" to simply the letter "Q" (G is so overrated...the name "G" is the new "James"; everyone's using it. Plus, I feel that the letter Q is underused, yet gives kind of a cultural feel.), I would definitely sign up for Secret Millionaire so that I could kick it with some crazy rednecks in a beat down little town in North Dakota that has been overrun by horses! And I was also able to catch up on the reasons why I do not keep up with the "Speidi-ites" and all of their crazy run away wedding baby mama drama. But, it wasn't so bad watching these crazy t.v. shows because I got to watch them with you, and that was nice.
Isabella and Chase were so much fun to watch at gymnastics, but the "Thursday Social Hour" part of it was far more entertaining. You and your friends are crazy funny! And I must thank you for shopping with me and helping me pick out a really great gift for my "secret santa" exchange that is yet to happen, by the way. But you are such a trooper for going with me. Even if I got crap from my mom AND dad for being such a horrible shopper, it was a fun adventure and I look forward to shopping with you again in the near future.
Thank you so much for a fun week! My only regret is that your taste in music is equivalent to the smell of farts. But sometimes they don't smell too bad, they're just all noise. Those ones are tricky. Just like how sometimes you surprise me and like a really good jam. But often, they are SBD's; you don't see/hear them coming... One minute you're reading a good book and the next minute you're rocking back and forth in the fetal position before the hair in your nostrils catches fire and you knock out cold. But don't despair! I plan on coming to visit you many many more times this year, so with a little fasting and prayer, my amazing taste in music will rub off on you a little.
I love you, Aunt Misty! I hope that you have a wonderful week!!
Love,
Britney
