Blame it all on my roots, I showed up in boots...

Sarah's bridal shower turned out most fabulous, indeed! I ended up catching the 24 hour flu on Friday night with tons of stuff to take care of still, but Jamie saved my life and helped me pull it all together. Thanks, Buddy!!! So dinner plans took a 180 because I wasn't about to sit there and cook with the flu, yuck! But it all turned out to be a blast! We all learned a bit more about Miss (soon to be Mrs.) Sarah and her Mr. Mysterious James, which was good because most of us don't know him very well. We also had a surprise visitor who turned out to be not as young and attractive as we could have hoped. Despite his earnest attempts at earning her love (including shots of "whiskey", serenading her with guitar in hand, and a lovely poem), she refused to give into his temptations and seduction, proving her love and devotion to Mr. James (can I get an "Awww..."??). May they live happily ever after! Also, may James never find out about our night with Wild Bill....
